Adjoining the ancient and turretted Bamff House, and boasting many original features in its carefully renovated interior, The Old Brewhouse sits within a 1,300 acre Scottish Estate, whose owner won Glenfiddich's first Enviroment Award in 2007. Visitors can take advantage of private guided tours of the beaver wetlands, lodges and dams as well as helping to feed the herd of wild boar. Excellent rambling is assured – the Cateran Trail walking route passes through the estate. City delights are also easily accessible – Dundee and Perth are about 25 miles' drive. Shop and pub serving food at Aylth, 3 miles.

Advice to check the owners own website - there are excellent opportunities for walking, beaver watching etc on site.

Many thanks Louise and Paul for making this a superb holiday. We love bird watching and wildlife so found a 'gem' in choosing Bamff. Seeing the Beavers and Boar in natural habitat was wonderful - well done to the beavers for being so obliging, we managed to get some good video and photos. It was nice to have an early morning and evening walk around the estate with an all day dawn chorus. We really love the cottage, found it warm and comfortable and we look forward to a return visit.
